Welcome! We're Sara and Rebecca - speech and language therapists from Pembrokeshire, Wales, and founders of Serennu Therapies. We offer services in both Welsh and English.
Sara is a mum of 3, married to a dairy farmer and Rebecca is a mum of 2, married to a seafarer.

We're incredibly passionate speech and language therapists dedicated to supporting individuals of all ages on their unique communication journeys. Our practice is rooted in the principles of neurodiversity affirming care, and celebrating the diverse ways our brains work and communicate.
With 15 years of experience, we specialise in creating personalised therapy plans honouring each individual's strengths and needs. Whether working with children, adolescents, or adults, our goal is to empower our clients to express themselves authentically, while fostering an environment of acceptance and understanding.
Here at Serennu, we believe that every person has a unique voice that deserves to be heard. Our approach is collaborative, holistic, and deeply respectful of neurodivergent experiences. We work closely with clients and their families to build on their strengths, using evidence-based strategies that align with their goals and values. Furthermore, working collaboratively with other professionals allows us to deliver comprehensive and personalised care, assisting children and their families to achieve the best possible communication outcomes.

Sara:
Worked within Mainstream school settings following graduation with a diverse caseload.
Specialist SLT in a special school setting.
Highly Specialist and Clinical Lead SLT for Complex Needs (0-19 years)
Extensive experience supporting children with complex communication needs between 0-19 years of age.
Special interest in complex needs, PMLD (profound and multiple learning disabilities), AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication), and Autism.
Rebecca:
Worked across various settings and within a range of clinical areas since qualifying as a Speech and Language Therapist (SLT) in 2009.
Worked within Mainstream school settings following graduation with a varied caseload.
Specialist SLT in the Flying Start team, training parents and setting staff in early identification of speech, language, and communication needs and empowering them to support and develop these skills with preschool-aged children.
Extensive experience supporting children with complex communication needs between 0-11 years old.
Special interest in Autism, delayed echolalia, and AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication).
